Mandrel for especially large or freely adjustable radii. The radius can also be changed during use, i.e. it can be narrowed or widened. The middle radius is shown with a marking. Min. radius: 75 mm Max. radius: 165 mm.
This Alphacool bending mandrel is compatible with tube diameters of 12–13 mm and 16 mm and provides guided support with the guidance always aligned downwards. It allows continuous adjustment of the bending radius between 75 mm and 165 mm, and the centre radius is marked for repeatable results. The black finish matches common custom PC cooling setups.
Place the bending mandrel into position around the tube so the guidance is aligned downwards. Adjust the mandrel to the desired radius using the marked centre radius as a reference, then apply steady bending force while maintaining alignment. If a different radius is needed during the operation, the mandrel can be narrowed or widened to achieve the new curvature. Ensure tube diameter matches one of the supported sizes (12–13 mm or 16 mm) before bending.
Use the mandrel with tubes of the specified diameters only and perform bends gradually to avoid kinking. Verify the centre radius marking for repeatable bends and check compatibility with your custom Alphacool cooling components.
