Halogen Bulbs Amio P21/5W BAY15D 24V 21W/5W 10 pcs (AMI-01007)
Amio P21/5W BAY15D 24V 21W/5W halogen bulbs are a pack of 10 dual-filament lamps designed for vehicle lighting circuits that require two intensity levels. Each bulb fits standard BAY15d sockets and provides 24 V operation with separate 21 W and 5 W filaments, making them suitable for combined brake/taillight or tail/indicator fittings. The lamps are direct-replacement halogen filaments intended for use in automotive and commercial vehicle applications where compatible bulb type and voltage are specified.
The bulbs deliver reliable two-stage illumination with distinct high and low outputs for brake and tail functions. As halogen filament lamps, they offer straightforward compatibility with existing BAY15d sockets and typical vehicle wiring without the need for additional adapters. Supplied in a pack of 10, they provide a convenient quantity for multi-point replacements and fleet maintenance, reducing the frequency of reordering.
Ensure the vehicle electrical system is 24 V and the socket is a BAY15d type before installation. Switch off power and allow existing lamp and socket to cool if recently used. Remove the old bulb by pressing slightly and rotating to release from the bayonet socket, then align the bulb pins with the BAY15d slots and push and twist to secure. Verify correct seating and restore power to confirm both filaments illuminate as intended when testing brake and tail functions.
For consistent performance, replace bulbs in pairs on the same axle to maintain balanced light output. Handle bulbs with clean gloves or a cloth to avoid skin oils on the glass, which can shorten lamp life. Check wiring and socket contacts for corrosion or looseness when replacing bulbs; poor contacts can cause flicker or reduced light output.
