Parking sensor kit Amio AMI-01597 — 8 sensors, LED display, silver
The Amio AMI-01597 parking sensor kit includes eight silver ultrasonic sensors and a high-visibility LED display that together provide visual and audible feedback to assist with reversing and close-quarters parking. Designed for retrofit installation on passenger cars, the system detects obstacles behind the vehicle and indicates distance information on the display while also emitting warning sounds to help reduce the risk of minor collisions in tight spaces.
The eight-sensor configuration delivers wide coverage across the rear bumper, improving detection of low and narrow obstacles that single- or four-sensor systems may miss. The LED display offers clear distance indication at a glance, while acoustic alerts supplement visual cues to ensure the driver notices approaching objects. Silver-colored sensors are designed to blend with many vehicle finishes and provide a discreet, factory-like appearance once installed.
Install the sensors in the rear bumper according to the included mounting template, wire them to the control unit and connect the LED display inside the cabin in a position visible to the driver. Power the system from the vehicle reverse light circuit so the kit activates automatically when the vehicle is put into reverse. During operation, the LED display presents distance information while audible beeps increase in frequency as the vehicle approaches an obstacle.
For reliable performance, keep sensors clean and free of snow, ice, mud or heavy dirt. Have the system fitted or checked by a qualified installer if you are not experienced with vehicle electrical systems. Test sensor response after installation and periodically during use, and avoid relying solely on the parking sensor—always check mirrors and surroundings when reversing.
