Wireless RCA video transmitter and receiver Amio AMI-02486
The Amio AMI-02486 wireless RCA video transmitter and receiver set provides a plug-and-play solution for sending composite (RCA) video signals without physical cabling. Designed for standard-definition analog video, the kit links a video source with an RCA composite output to a remote display or recording device with an RCA composite input. It is suitable for temporary installs, small monitoring setups, or locations where running coaxial or RCA cables is impractical.
The set eliminates the need for long coaxial or RCA cable runs, simplifying installation and reducing material costs. Its compact transmitter and receiver units are simple to connect and require minimal configuration, supporting quick deployment. The wireless link preserves the original composite video signal format, ensuring compatibility with legacy cameras, VCRs, and other analog video equipment without the need for signal conversion.
Connect the transmitter unit to the composite video output of your source device using an RCA cable, and connect the receiver unit to the display or recording device with an RCA cable. Power both units using their respective power adapters and position them within line-of-sight or within the recommended operating range for stable reception. Verify the display device is set to the correct input channel and, if necessary, adjust transmitter or receiver placement to reduce interference and improve signal quality.
Place transmitter and receiver at a height and orientation that minimize obstructions. Avoid locating units near large metal objects, Wi‑Fi routers or other strong RF sources. For critical monitoring applications, test the link under expected conditions before final installation and consider redundancy or wired backup where continuous operation is required.
