Parking sensor kit Amio AMI-02685 with 4 white sensors, 4.3" TFT monitor and HD-501-IR camera
Amio AMI-02685 is a parking sensor kit designed for passenger cars that combines four white ultrasonic sensors, a 4.3" TFT monitor and an HD-501-IR reversing camera. The system provides both visual feed from the camera and audible alerts from the sensors to assist drivers during parking and low-speed maneuvers. The compact monitor displays the camera image and works together with the sensors to indicate obstacle proximity.
The kit integrates ultrasonic detection and a reversing camera into a single system, enabling simultaneous visual guidance and distance alerts. White sensors are unobtrusive when mounted on a vehicle’s bumper, and the 4.3" TFT monitor delivers a dedicated display for the rear camera image. Audible tones from the sensors support precise stopping even when the screen is not being watched.
Mount the four ultrasonic sensors into the rear bumper at even spacing and connect their wiring to the kit’s control unit according to the installation manual. Install the HD-501-IR reversing camera at the rear of the vehicle in a position that offers a clear view behind the car and route its video cable to the 4.3" TFT monitor inside the cabin. Power the system from the vehicle’s reverse light circuit or a suitable 12V source so that the camera and monitor activate automatically when the vehicle is placed in reverse gear. After installation, test the sensors and camera feed by slowly reversing toward an obstacle to verify audible alerts and on-screen image quality.
For reliable performance, ensure sensors are mounted on a clean, flat section of the bumper and that the camera lens is unobstructed. Periodically check sensor alignment and camera connectors, and avoid high-pressure washing directly on sensor housings. Use the camera view in combination with mirrors and direct observation for safe maneuvering.
