Jump starter cables Amio 1500 A, 6 m — heavy-duty starter leads for vehicle battery boosting

Amio 1500 A jump starter cables, 6 m long, are heavy-duty starter leads designed to transfer high current between vehicle batteries. Constructed for reliable battery boosting, these jumper cables support quick connection between donor and recipient batteries, enabling start assistance for cars, vans and light trucks. The extended 6 m length offers flexibility for positioning vehicles during a jump start while robust clamps and thick conductors are intended to deliver the rated 1500 amp current safely under typical roadside and workshop conditions.

Advantages

These starter cables combine a high rated current with extended reach to accommodate different vehicle layouts and parking positions. The heavy-gauge conductors reduce voltage drop during cranking, and the sturdy clamps provide secure attachment to battery terminals. Insulated leads protect against accidental contact and environmental exposure, while the overall construction is aimed at repeated use in emergency and maintenance scenarios.

Suitable for

• Jump-starting passenger cars
• Boosting batteries of vans and light commercial vehicles
• Use in roadside assistance and emergency starts
• Workshop battery testing and maintenance support

Key specifications

• Rated current: 1500 A
• Cable length: 6 m total length
• Conductor type: heavy-gauge copper or copper-clad (designed for high current transfer)
• Clamps: reinforced, insulated battery clamps for firm terminal contact
• Insulation: durable, weather-resistant jacket for outdoor use

How to use

Position both vehicles so batteries are accessible and switch off ignitions and electrical consumers. Unwind the 6 m cables and attach the positive clamp to the positive terminal of the donor battery, then to the positive terminal of the discharged battery. Attach the negative clamp to the negative terminal of the donor battery and to a solid metal ground point on the vehicle with the discharged battery, away from the battery and fuel system. Start the donor vehicle, allow the donor battery to supply current for a short period, then attempt to start the recipient engine. Once the engine is running, disconnect clamps in reverse order and stow cables. Follow safe handling practices and verify secure clamp contact before cranking.

Usage recommendations

For safe and effective use, ensure clamps have clean contact surfaces and avoid connecting clamps while batteries are charging or near open flames. Use the 6 m length to position vehicles with adequate clearance, and inspect cables and insulation for damage before each use. If uncertain about connections or if excessive heat or sparking occurs, discontinue use and consult a professional service technician.
