Jump Starter Cables Amio 1800 A — 6 m battery booster leads

Amio 1800 A jump starter cables, 6 m long, are heavy-duty booster leads designed for connecting a donor battery to a discharged vehicle battery. The set provides robust conductive performance for transient high-current starts and extended reach to access batteries in cars, vans and light trucks. Insulated clamps and flexible cable insulation improve safety during roadside jumps and workshop procedures while the 6 m length allows for convenient positioning between vehicles.

Advantages

These booster leads deliver a high peak current rating of 1800 A to handle demanding engine starts while the long 6 m cable gives additional distance between vehicles to enable safe and practical use. Insulated clamps reduce risk of accidental contact and shorting, and the cable construction balances flexibility with durability for repeated use. The simple clamp connections make the set compatible with standard 12 V vehicle batteries without the need for specialised tools.

Suitable for

• Emergency roadside battery jumps for cars, vans and light trucks
• Workshop battery testing and maintenance where temporary connection to a donor battery is required
• Fleet maintenance and transport service vehicles that need reliable jump-start capability

Key specifications

• Peak current rating: 1800 A
• Cable length: 6 m total length
• Clamp type: insulated heavy-duty clamps for secure connection
• Voltage compatibility: intended for standard 12 V vehicle electrical systems
• Cable construction: flexible insulated lead designed for repeated handling

How to use

Park the donor and recipient vehicles close enough so the 6 m cables reach both batteries while keeping the engines and ignitions off. Identify the positive (+) and negative (−) terminals on each battery. Connect one red clamp to the positive terminal of the donor battery and the other red clamp to the positive terminal of the discharged battery. Connect one black clamp to the negative terminal of the donor battery and the remaining black clamp to a suitable grounded metal point on the recipient vehicle away from the battery. Start the donor vehicle, allow it to run for a few minutes to charge the discharged battery, then attempt to start the recipient vehicle. Remove clamps in reverse order after successful start and ensure cables do not contact moving engine parts during use.

Usage recommendations

Before use, inspect cables and clamps for damage, corrosion or exposed conductors. Use the Amio 1800 A cables only on compatible 12 V systems and avoid connecting clamps to the wrong terminals. Store the cables dry and coiled to prevent kinks; replace if insulation is cracked or clamps fail to grip securely.
