Description

ACPR is a wired remote control with a local line input designed for use with the APart SDQ5PIR active speaker. The unit features a brushed aluminium front and provides a front-panel 3.2 mm stereo jack plus a rear euroblock line input; the front jack takes priority and automatically disables the rear input when inserted.

Advantages

The ACPR offers simple wall-mounted volume control for hotel rooms and other installations, with automatic input switching between the front jack and the rear euroblock connector. Its brushed aluminium faceplate provides a low-profile, durable finish suitable for a variety of interiors. Two in-wall mounting boxes are available for installation flexibility: E-MODIN for drywall and N-MODIN for brick walls.

How to use

Install the ACPR in a compatible in-wall box (E-MODIN or N-MODIN as appropriate). Connect the rear euroblock line input to the APart SDQ5PIR active speaker or another line-level source. Use the front-panel controls to adjust volume. Plugging a device into the front 3.2 mm stereo jack will mute the rear euroblock input and route the front device audio through the speaker; unplugging the front jack restores the rear input automatically.

Usage recommendations

For a reliable installation, use the recommended in-wall boxes (E-MODIN for drywall, N-MODIN for brick) and ensure cable connections to the euroblock connector are secure. Use standard line-level sources with approximately 500 mV output for optimal performance.
