Rack mount pod sensor APC by Schneider Electric NetBotz 150, 6-channel, 1000 m range, 337×43×43 mm
The APC by Schneider Electric NetBotz 150 rack mount pod sensor is a compact 6-channel environmental sensor designed for integration into server racks and network cabinets. It extends monitoring capability by allowing connection of up to six universal sensors to a compatible NetBotz appliance, supporting an operating distance of up to 1000 m. With a slim form factor (337×43×43 mm) and lightweight construction (610 g), the pod is suitable for dense rack environments where temperature, humidity and other environmental conditions must be tracked.
The NetBotz 150 pod provides six additional sensor inputs for existing NetBotz appliances, enabling expansion of an environmental monitoring system without replacing the core appliance. It supports multiple sensor types such as temperature, humidity, leak/spot and door switch sensors, and can accept third-party sensors that are compatible with the NetBotz platform. The pod is compatible with current-generation NetBotz appliances and can be linked to other pods using the proprietary NetBotz A-Link connection. Power options include PoE Type 2 over Ethernet or an optional 12 V DC power supply for flexible deployment.
Install the NetBotz 150 pod into an available rack location and connect compatible universal sensors to its six inputs. Use the NetBotz A-Link to connect multiple pods if you need to extend monitoring to additional rack units. Power the pod via a PoE Type 2 enabled Ethernet connection or an optional 12 V DC adapter. Configure sensor types and thresholds within the connected NetBotz appliance interface so that collected data and alerts are visible on the central monitoring system.
Mount the pod within the rack near the areas you need to monitor and route sensor cables to avoid obstructing airflow. Verify compatibility of third-party sensors with the NetBotz platform before installation, and ensure the PoE source meets Type 2 power requirements if using Ethernet power. Regularly review and adjust alarm thresholds and perform periodic firmware checks on the NetBotz appliance to maintain accurate monitoring.
