Easy Rack ER8212 is a pre-assembled freestanding IT enclosure built to the EIA-310 standard, designed for data center and networking environments. The cabinet measures 42U in height with a deep 1100 mm chassis and an increased width to accommodate dense server and networking equipment. It includes a roof, keys, levelling feet, casters, side panels, mounting hardware and PDU mounting brackets; the bottom is not included. The design provides sufficient internal depth and vertical mounting space to support deep devices and vertical accessories, and the enclosure can be shipped either fully assembled for immediate deployment or unassembled for storage or transit.

How to use

Position the freestanding rack on a level surface and use the levelling feet to stabilise the enclosure; castors can be used for movement prior to final placement. Install equipment into the standard EIA-310 mounting u-spaces and make use of the integrated vertical 1U mounting strips where vertical accessories are required. Route power distribution units using the supplied PDU mounting brackets and manage cabling through the multifunctional roof and widened enclosure space. For dense or heavy configurations, verify weight distribution and secure the rack according to site safety practices.

For optimal airflow and equipment longevity, maintain clear front-to-rear airflow paths, avoid obstructing ventilated doors, and evenly distribute heavy devices vertically and front-to-back.
