APC Smart-UPS C Line Interactive 3kVA Rackmount 2U 230V 8x IEC C13 1x IEC C19
The APC Smart-UPS C Line Interactive 3kVA Rackmount 2U (SMC3000RMI2U) is a 230V line-interactive UPS designed for small and medium business environments to maintain uptime and protect critical electronics. Rated at 3 kVA (2100 W), it provides pure sine wave output from a 2U rackmount chassis and includes an intuitive graphic LCD for status monitoring. The unit includes an internal lead-acid battery, IEC 320 C20 input, eight IEC 320 C13 outlets, one IEC 320 C19 outlet and two IEC jumper cables. The UPS operates in a high-efficiency green mode and offers surge protection against lightning, sags, brownouts and other power disturbances. A dedicated user-replaceable battery cartridge is supported and the product is covered by a 2-year UPS warranty.
The Smart-UPS C delivers pure sine wave power with automatic voltage regulation (AVR) to stabilise output voltage and protect sensitive equipment. Its 2U rackmount format and multiple IEC outlets allow convenient integration into server racks and network closets. The graphic LCD and USB/Serial communication provide straightforward monitoring and control. Built-in surge protection and a replaceable battery cartridge help ensure continued operation and simplified maintenance.
Install the UPS in a standard 19-inch rack using the included mounting hardware and ensure adequate ventilation around the unit. Connect the UPS input to a suitable 230 V power source using the IEC C20 inlet. Plug critical equipment into the IEC C13 and C19 outlets, then power on the UPS and verify status via the graphic LCD. Configure USB or Serial communication with management software if remote monitoring or graceful shutdown is required. Replace the battery using the APC replacement battery cartridge when the unit indicates battery end-of-life or degraded runtime.
Place the UPS in a controlled environment free from excessive dust, moisture and heat. Perform periodic self-tests and monitor battery health; follow APC guidance for battery replacement and firmware updates to maintain expected runtime and protection levels.
