The APC Smart-UPS SMT1000IC provides immediate battery backup and power conditioning for connected equipment when mains power fails. It supplies a pure sine wave output suitable for servers and devices with active PFC power supplies, protects against surges and noise, and includes an LCD interface and physical buttons for local configuration. The UPS supports SmartConnect remote monitoring through an onboard Ethernet port and can be integrated with EcoStruxure IT Expert or managed via an optional Network Management Card. The internal hot-swappable battery cartridge (RBC6) is user-replaceable, and the product ships with cables and PowerChute Business Edition software for orderly shutdowns and energy management.
