The APC Smart-UPS SMT1500RMI2UC is a 1500 VA line-interactive UPS in a 2U rackmount form factor that delivers emergency power to connected equipment and protects against voltage peaks. It includes four C13 outlets, USB connectivity and an internal sealed lead-acid battery. The UPS provides automatic transfer to battery during power loss, supports orderly shutdowns via APC PowerChute software, and offers optional network and cloud monitoring via SmartConnect or an APC Network Management Card.

Install the UPS into a 4-post rack using the supplied rail kit and connect critical devices to the C13 outlets. Connect the UPS to a computer with the USB cable to enable PowerChute Serial Edition for automatic, controlled shutdowns when battery runtime is low.
