The APC Smart-UPS X SMX2200RMHV2U is a 2200VA line-interactive rack/tower UPS that provides 1980 W of output power and pure sine wave emergency power to connected IT equipment. Designed for network administrators and IT managers, it features 8x IEC C13 and 1x IEC C19 outlets, an IEC C20 input and included power cords (BS1363A, Schuko and IEC C20). The unit supports hot-swappable, user-replaceable internal battery cartridges (APCRBC117) and can be expanded with up to 10 external battery packs (SMX120RMBP2U) to extend runtime. A SmartSlot accepts an optional Network Management Card for remote management, graceful shutdown and integration with EcoStruxure IT or other centralized platforms.

Install the SMX2200RMHV2U in a 2U rack using the included 4-post brackets or place it upright using the stabilizer feet. Connect critical devices to the IEC C13 and C19 outlets and plug the UPS into mains using one of the supplied input power cords. Use the LCD interface or PowerChute software (included) to configure runtime settings, notification and shutdown parameters. If required, install the optional APC Network Management Card in the SmartSlot to enable SNMP, remote monitoring and PowerChute Network Shutdown for automated, ordered shutdowns of physical and virtual servers.
