The APC Smart-UPS On-Line SRT1000RMXLI-NC is a 1 kVA double-conversion rackmount UPS that provides continuous, clean sine-wave power to connected equipment. Designed for IT professionals and network administrators, it protects servers, storage and network devices from outages, surges and other power disturbances. The unit includes a preinstalled APC Network Management Card for network monitoring and remote management and offers six IEC C13 outlets and multiple input plug options. The built-in 48V sealed lead-acid battery supports extended runtime and can be expanded with external battery packs.

Advantages

Double-conversion technology supplies uninterrupted, perfectly conditioned power even during mains interruptions or when a generator is used. The UPS supports remote monitoring and controlled shutdown of critical systems via the preinstalled Network Management Card and PowerChute Network Shutdown software. Runtime can be extended by connecting external battery packs, and the internal battery cartridge is user-replaceable without powering down connected equipment. A tiltable graphic LCD and physical buttons enable straightforward local operation, while rack kit hardware allows 2U installation.

Install the UPS in a 2U rack using the supplied 4-post rail kit, connect input power using the appropriate inlet, and plug critical devices into the IEC C13 outlets. Configure network settings through the Network Management Card web interface or via EcoStruxure IT to enable remote monitoring. Use PowerChute Network Shutdown to define automated, orderly shutdown sequences for physical and virtual servers in case of prolonged power loss. To extend runtime, connect compatible external battery packs (SRT48RMBP).

Usage recommendations

For optimal availability, enable the Network Management Card and configure PowerChute automatic shutdown for critical systems.
