The APC Smart-UPS On-Line SRT1500RMXLI-NC is a 1500VA 2U rackmount UPS with double-conversion topology designed to provide continuous, clean power to critical IT equipment. With an internal 48V sealed lead‑acid battery and a preinstalled APC Network Management Card (AP9641), the unit supports network-based monitoring and controlled shutdown of servers and virtual machines via PowerChute Network Shutdown. The UPS includes six IEC C13 outlets, a range of input plug options, internal bypass and compatibility with external battery packs to extend runtime.

Advantages

Double-conversion online operation ensures uninterrupted, pure sine wave output and isolates connected equipment from mains disturbances, including generator transfers. The preinstalled network card enables remote SNMP monitoring and managed shutdown sequences. Switched Outlet Groups allow remote reboot and phased power-up to reduce inrush current and prioritize critical loads. The user‑replaceable internal battery cartridge facilitates safe, on-site replacement without powering down protected equipment. Conforms to CE, EAC and RoHS standards.

How to use

Install the SRT1500RMXLI-NC in a standard 19" rack using the supplied mounting brackets and connect the UPS input to an appropriate mains source. Plug critical equipment into the IEC C13 outlets. Configure the Network Management Card via its web interface or an SNMP management platform and install PowerChute Network Shutdown on protected servers to enable automatic, orderly shutdown when battery power is low. To extend runtime, connect compatible external battery packs (SRT48RMBP). Replace the internal battery cartridge when indicated using the user‑accessible APCRBC155 replacement without shutting down connected devices.

Usage recommendations

Place the UPS in a temperature-controlled environment, avoid exposure to moisture and ensure adequate rack ventilation. Keep firmware and PowerChute/EcoStruxure software up to date and purchase the required PowerChute license for hyperconverged or advanced virtual machine support.
