UPS APC SRTL2200RM4UXLI Double-conversion Online 3 kVA / 1980 W, 8x AC outlets, Li‑Ion, Rack/Tower 4U
APC SRTL2200RM4UXLI is a double-conversion online UPS providing 3 kVA (1980 W) of continuous output power in a 4U rackmount/tower enclosure. The unit delivers regulated, uninterrupted AC power via eight AC outlets (C13/C19 couplers) and uses 48 V lithium‑ion battery technology designed for up to 10 years of service life. Built for data centres, server cabinets and critical IT environments, this UPS ensures clean sinewave output and automatic transfer to battery during mains disturbances while offering a compact 4U form factor for rack or tower installation.
The UPS offers true online double-conversion topology for consistent voltage and frequency regulation, eliminating switching to battery when input power varies. Lithium‑ion batteries provide longer lifecycle and reduced maintenance compared with lead‑acid alternatives, with a smaller footprint and predictable replacement intervals. Multiple AC outlets support mixed C13 and C19 loads, and the 4U design allows installation in standard server racks or as a standalone tower. The device’s rated output of 1980 W supports a range of network and server equipment with stable, continuous power delivery.
Install the UPS in a standard 19" rack using the included mounting kit or place it on a stable surface in tower orientation. Connect the UPS to a dedicated mains supply that meets local electrical codes and ensure adequate ventilation around the unit. Attach critical equipment to the provided AC outlets, prioritising load distribution between C13 and C19 sockets according to device requirements. Configure any network management or monitoring settings before placing the protected loads into production, and verify that the UPS reports normal operation and battery status via its management interface.
Perform initial commissioning including a full battery charge and a self-test after installation. Schedule periodic self-tests and monitor battery health to plan replacements before end of service life. Place the UPS in a climate-controlled environment within the manufacturer's recommended temperature range and avoid obstructing airflow. For critical installations, combine with external monitoring and regular firmware updates to maintain reliability.
