Aptel ZU-403 3-Port Lever Wire Connector 0.08-4mm2
Aptel ZU-403 3-Port Lever Wire Connector 0.08-4mm2
The Aptel ZU-403 is a professional 3-port lever wire connector engineered for efficient and secure electrical connections. This compact device facilitates the joining of up to three conductors, supporting a wide range of wire types including solid, stranded, and fine-stranded cables. With a versatile cross-section capacity of 0.08 to 4 mm2, it provides a reliable solution for various electrical installation tasks in both residential and commercial environments.
The primary benefit of the Aptel ZU-403 is its intuitive lever-operated mechanism, which allows for rapid wire termination without the requirement for specialized tools or manual twisting. This design significantly reduces installation time while ensuring a consistent and vibration-resistant contact. The transparent housing allows for visual inspection of the connection, providing added safety and peace of mind during maintenance or troubleshooting. Its compact footprint is specifically designed to save space within crowded junction boxes, making it an essential component for modern electrical wiring.
This connector is intended for use with standard electrical wiring and is not suitable for high-current industrial power lines or applications exceeding its rated voltage and current capacity. It should not be used in environments with extreme moisture or direct exposure to water unless housed in an appropriate IP-rated enclosure.
To use the Aptel ZU-403, first strip approximately 10-11 mm of insulation from the end of each wire. Lift the orange lever on the connector to the open position, insert the stripped conductor fully into the port, and then push the lever back down to lock the wire securely in place. Repeat this process for the remaining ports as needed. Ensure that the wire is fully seated and that no bare copper is exposed outside the connector housing.
Always ensure that the power supply is completely disconnected before performing any electrical work. Test the connection by gently pulling on the wires to confirm they are firmly held by the spring clamp mechanism.
