Thermal grease Aqirys AQ-2 is a compact 2 g thermal compound with a thermal conductivity of 5.6 W/m·K and a density of 3.96 g/cm³. Designed to improve heat transfer between a processor's IHS and the cooler base, the AQ-2 is suitable for use with CPUs and many GPU coolers where a non-conductive, easy-to-apply paste is required.
Aqirys AQ-2 provides low thermal resistance and effective heat transfer thanks to its 5.6 W/m·K thermal conductivity. The paste has a stable consistency and comes with a spatula for precise application. In addition to reliable thermal performance, the product is supplied in a small 2 g package and has a black color.
Ensure both the processor IHS and cooler base are clean and free of old thermal compound or debris. Apply a small, pea-sized amount of Aqirys AQ-2 to the center of the IHS and mount the cooler according to the manufacturer's instructions; mounting pressure will spread the paste to fill microscopic gaps. Use the included spatula to spread the compound manually if a thin, even layer is preferred. Reassemble the cooler and verify secure mounting.
Store the thermal grease at room temperature and avoid contaminating the paste with dust or skin oils. Use only the required amount to avoid excess squeeze-out; reapply only after removing the old compound during maintenance or component replacement.
