Aqirys AQ-4 8.5 W/m·K 2 g is a thermal grease formulated to improve heat transfer between a processor or graphics chip and its cooler. With a thermal conductivity of 8.5 W/m·K and a density of 2.5 g/cm³, the paste fills microscopic gaps between the integrated heat spreader (IHS) and the cooler base to reduce thermal resistance and support efficient cooling. How to use

Clean both the processor IHS and the cooler contact surface thoroughly with isopropyl alcohol and a lint-free cloth to remove old paste, dust and oils. Apply a small pea-sized amount of Aqirys AQ-4 to the centre of the IHS, then mount the cooler and tighten mounting hardware according to the cooler manufacturer’s instructions to spread the paste into a thin, even layer. Alternatively, use the included spatula to spread the paste in a uniform film before attaching the cooler. After installation, run the system and monitor temperatures to confirm correct application.

Usage recommendations

Use Aqirys AQ-4 for standard and overclocked systems where a balance of high thermal conductivity and easy application is required. Replace or reapply thermal paste whenever you remove the cooler or if thermal performance degrades; typical intervals vary with use but reapplication during major upgrades or every couple of years is common.
