Reservoir Aqua-Computer ULTITUBE D5 150 PRO LEAKSHIELD — pump-compatible cooling reservoir for custom liquid cooling

The Aqua-Computer ULTITUBE D5 150 PRO LEAKSHIELD is a 150 mm reservoir engineered for custom PC liquid cooling loops and designed to integrate with D5-series pumps. Its compact cylindrical body houses coolant volume management features and a LEAKSHIELD layer intended to reduce external leakage risk. The reservoir facilitates filling and bleeding of the loop while providing a stable mounting surface for compatible D5 pump heads and fittings.

Advantages

The unit combines reservoir capacity with pump compatibility to save space and simplify loop construction. LEAKSHIELD protection provides an additional barrier against minor leaks and evaporative losses, while the cylindrical transparent tube allows visual monitoring of coolant level. Built for compatibility with common fittings and D5 pump heads, the reservoir supports reliable circulation in high-performance systems and reduces the number of separate components required.

Suitable for

• Custom desktop PC liquid cooling systems using D5-series pumps
• High-performance gaming rigs and workstation builds requiring stable coolant circulation
• Systems where compact pump+reservoir integration and easy filling/bleeding are preferred
• Enthusiast setups that require visible coolant level monitoring and tidy loop plumbing

When it may not be suitable

This reservoir is designed specifically for D5-compatible pump integration and may not fit systems that use other pump form factors. Its 150 mm height and cylindrical shape may not be suitable for compact cases with very limited vertical space. If a larger coolant volume or a different reservoir shape is required, choose a model with greater capacity or alternative form factor.

Key specifications

• Reservoir type: cylindrical pump-compatible reservoir for custom loops
• Height: 150 mm model
• Pump compatibility: D5-series pump heads
• Protection feature: LEAKSHIELD layer for reduced external leakage
• Material: transparent tube for coolant level visibility (body and sealing materials suitable for watercooling)
• Mounting: designed for integration with standard fittings and pump mounting options

How to use

Install the reservoir in a location that provides sufficient clearance for the 150 mm body and allows easy access for filling. Mount a compatible D5 pump head to the reservoir according to the pump and reservoir manufacturer instructions, ensuring secure fittings and proper sealing. Fill the loop with the chosen coolant, use the reservoir to bleed trapped air by running the pump at low speed and tipping the system as necessary, and monitor the coolant level through the transparent tube. Periodically check seals and fittings for signs of wear or leaks and top up coolant as required.

What to consider before purchase

• Verify that your case has enough vertical space for a 150 mm cylindrical reservoir
• Confirm compatibility with your chosen D5 pump head and fittings
• Consider whether the reservoir capacity meets your coolant volume needs
• Check material compatibility with additives or colored coolants you plan to use

Usage recommendations

For reliable operation, use the reservoir with a genuine D5-series pump head and compatible fittings, perform initial leak testing before prolonged use, and maintain regular inspection intervals to ensure seals and LEAKSHIELD protection remain effective.
