How to use

Rinse the gravel thoroughly under running water until the effluent runs clear to remove dust and fines. Spread an even layer on the aquarium bottom; typical depth is 2–4 cm for decorative setups and 4–6 cm for planted tanks to allow root development. Place plants, rocks and decorations on top, avoiding vigorous disturbance of the layer during initial planting. Monitor water clarity for the first few hours after installation and perform a partial water change if necessary.

Usage recommendations

For planted aquaria, combine this gravel with a nutrient-rich substrate layer or root tabs to support demanding plant species; for tanks with delicate bottom-dwelling fish, create gentle slopes and avoid sharp-edged ornaments that could harm fins.
