Bend Arangül 20x1/2M — plumbing pipe elbow 20 mm x 1/2" male
Arangül Bend 20x1/2M is a plumbing elbow for connecting 20 mm PE (polyethylene) pipe to a 1/2" male threaded fitting. It provides a compact angled connection suitable for water supply and heating installations, allowing a transition from polyethylene piping to standard threaded valves or fixtures. The product is intended for household and light commercial use where a reliable angled threaded outlet is required.
Made from polyethylene (PE), the bend is lightweight, flexible and chemically resistant, offering long service life. PE construction reduces the risk of brittle failure at low temperatures, making the fitting suitable for a wide range of environments. The threaded 1/2" male outlet enables straightforward connection to common plumbing components.
Prepare the 20 mm PE pipe by cutting squarely and deburring the end. Insert or join the pipe to the PE side of the elbow according to the chosen connection method for the fitting (e.g., push-fit, fusion or approved mechanical coupling). Tighten the 1/2" male threaded outlet into the corresponding 1/2" female fitting or valve using appropriate sealing (PTFE tape or thread sealant) as required by the installation. Ensure all connections are secure and pressure-test the system following local plumbing codes.
Use the fitting within the temperature and pressure limits of the selected PE pipe system. For installations exposed to low temperatures, verify the PE pipe grade is suitable to avoid deformation under load. When joining to threaded metal components, apply proper thread sealant and avoid over-tightening to prevent damage to the fitting.
