ARCO SENA Straight Ball Valve with Union and Lever Handle 1 1/4 inch

The ARCO SENA straight ball valve with union and lever handle is a professional-grade plumbing component engineered for precise water flow control in residential and commercial distribution systems. This 1 1/4 inch valve features a robust construction that ensures long-term reliability and leak-free performance under standard operating pressures. The integrated union simplifies the installation and maintenance process, allowing for easy disconnection without the need to dismantle the entire piping network.

Advantages

This ball valve is manufactured using high-quality materials that provide excellent resistance to corrosion and mechanical wear. The ergonomic lever handle allows for smooth and quick operation, enabling users to shut off or regulate water flow with minimal effort. Its compact design makes it ideal for tight spaces, while the integrated union significantly reduces labor time during assembly or replacement tasks, ensuring a secure and durable connection in any hydraulic system.

Suitable for

• Residential water supply installations
• Commercial plumbing networks
• Heating and cooling system distribution
• Maintenance and repair of existing piping systems

When it may not be suitable

This valve is not designed for use with aggressive chemicals, steam, or high-temperature industrial fluids that exceed the manufacturer's specified operating limits. It should also not be used in systems where the pressure exceeds the rated capacity of the valve.

Key specifications

• Connection size: 1 1/4 inch
• Valve type: Straight ball valve
• Handle type: Lever handle
• Integrated union: Yes
• Application: Water distribution

How to use

To install the valve, ensure the piping is clean and free of debris. Apply appropriate thread sealant to the connections before threading the valve onto the pipe. Use a suitable wrench to tighten the connections, ensuring they are secure but not overtightened to avoid damaging the threads. Once installed, operate the lever handle to verify that the valve opens and closes smoothly. The union nut allows for easy disconnection of the valve from the pipe section for future maintenance or component replacement.

What to consider before purchase

• Verify the pipe diameter matches the 1 1/4 inch connection size
• Ensure the valve material is compatible with your specific water quality
• Check the available space for the lever handle rotation
• Confirm the operating pressure of your system aligns with the valve specifications

Usage recommendations

Regularly inspect the valve for signs of leakage or corrosion, especially in systems with hard water. Periodically cycle the handle from fully open to fully closed to prevent mineral buildup and ensure the internal ball mechanism remains free-moving.
