Wide Range of Speeds (800 to 8000 rpm)

The S12038-8K features a wide speed range from 800 to 8000 rpm, controllable via PWM or voltage regulation. This range enables precise adjustment of the fan to the specific requirements of the server, ensuring efficient cooling under different operating conditions. The fan is fitted with a standard 4-pin connector and is also compatible with 2-pin or 3-pin headers. The 30 cm cable provides additional flexibility for fan placement.

Active Cooling for Extended Motor Lifespan

A 10 °C lower motor temperature roughly doubles service life. The motor of the S12038-8K is not only particularly efficient but is also actively cooled by an additional impeller in the fan hub.

To ensure long service life in especially dusty environments, a sticker to cover the fan hub impeller is included in the package.

Ideal for Server Environments

In server environments, fans with high static pressure are required to provide sufficient air circulation in often tightly packed enclosures. The S12038-8K fits server cases from 3U and serves as an upgrade or replacement for a CPU fan, radiator fan, or system ventilation fan.

High Airflow and Static Pressure

Heatsinks and radiators benefit from fans with high static pressure. The S12038-8K provides a static pressure of 37 mmH₂O, enabling it to push air even through narrow cooling fins. At the same time it achieves a maximum airflow of 370 m³/h, allowing rapid heat dissipation from enclosures. These characteristics make it an ideal choice for many applications.

Designed for Continuous Operation

The impeller of the S12038-8K is supported by two high-quality Japanese ball bearings inside a sturdy brass housing. This design improves stability, strength and perpendicularity of the fan and reduces sensitivity to influences such as heat and dust. Additionally, the brass housing helps reduce wear on high-speed fans.
