Microcontroller Arduino Micro
The Arduino Micro is a compact microcontroller board based on the ATmega32U4. It includes 20 digital input/output pins (7 configurable as PWM and 12 as analog inputs), a 16 MHz crystal oscillator, a micro USB connector, an ICSP header and a reset button. The board contains everything required to support the microcontroller and can be powered and programmed via a micro USB cable. Its small form factor allows easy placement on a breadboard and integration into small devices.
The built-in ATmega32U4 provides native USB communication so the board can appear to a connected computer as a virtual serial (CDC) port, a keyboard or a mouse without a separate USB-to-serial chip. The compact size and full set of digital and analog pins make the Arduino Micro suitable for space-constrained or embedded projects where direct USB connectivity and flexible I/O are needed.
Connect the Arduino Micro to a computer with a micro USB cable to power and program it. Use the Arduino IDE or another compatible development environment to upload sketches via the built-in USB interface. Wire sensors, actuators or modules to the digital and analog pins according to your circuit design. Use the reset button to restart the board when necessary.
The board is suitable for projects that benefit from native USB communication and small size. Ensure correct wiring of power and I/O, and select appropriate supply voltages for attached components. For stable prototyping use a breadboard or a properly designed breakout; avoid exposing the board to moisture or excessive heat.
