Swim Goggles ARENA SPIDER by ARENA — model 000024/901, mirrored/clear lenses

ARENA SPIDER swim goggles (model 000024/901) are performance-oriented swimming goggles designed for both pool and open-water use. The design combines a low-profile, streamlined frame with mirrored and clear lens options to help reduce glare while maintaining visibility. An adjustable strap and a soft seal are intended to provide a secure and comfortable fit while limiting water ingress during lap swimming, training sessions, or recreational use.

Advantages

The goggles offer a compact, hydrodynamic shape that reduces drag in the water and supports a stable position on the face. Mirrored lenses reduce surface reflections in bright conditions, while clear lenses maintain contrast in lower light. The adjustable strap allows quick fit adjustments, and the gasket material is chosen to balance comfort with a watertight seal for most swimmers.

Suitable for

• Lap swimming and pool training
• Open-water swimming in sunny or variable light
• Recreational swimming and fitness sessions
• Swimmers seeking a low-profile, performance-oriented goggle

When it may not be suitable

These goggles are optimized for a streamlined, close-fitting profile and may not suit swimmers who require a larger field of vision or who prefer a looser fit. Swimmers with very sensitive skin or unusual facial contours may need to try different gasket shapes or materials to achieve a full seal and comfort.

Key specifications

• Frame style: low-profile, streamlined
• Lens options: mirrored and clear
• Intended use: pool and open-water swimming
• Fit system: adjustable strap
• Seal: soft gasket designed to limit water ingress

How to use

Adjust the strap length before entering the water to achieve a snug but comfortable fit. Place the goggles over the eyes and press gently to create the seal; then tighten the strap at the back of the head until the goggles sit securely without causing pain. Rinse with fresh water after use and store in a protective case to prevent scratches on the mirrored or clear lenses. For open-water sessions, ensure lens choice matches light conditions (mirrored for bright sun, clear for low light).

What to consider before purchase

• Facial fit: low-profile goggles fit closer to the face — try for seal and comfort
• Lens choice: select mirrored for glare reduction or clear for improved visibility in low light
• Use case: verify suitability for pool vs. open-water conditions
• Maintenance: requires rinsing and careful storage to protect lens coatings

Usage recommendations

For best results, choose mirrored lenses for sunny outdoor swims and clear lenses for indoor or low-light sessions. Perform a quick seal test on land before each swim and adjust the strap so the goggles remain stable during turns and dives. Avoid wiping the inner lens surface to preserve anti-fog properties; instead, rinse gently with water.
