Case for Raspberry Pi 5 Argon40 Argon Neo 5 Bred with fan, black-red
Argon40 Argon Neo 5 Bred is a compact black-red case designed for the Raspberry Pi 5. The enclosure offers dedicated cutouts for all ports and the GPIO header while integrating an active cooling fan to support sustained performance under load. The case provides protection for the board, orderly cable routing and a low-profile footprint suitable for desktop placements, media centers and development environments.
The case combines mechanical protection with active thermal management: an integrated fan provides directed airflow over the processor area to reduce peak temperatures during continuous or CPU-intensive tasks. The design preserves access to USB, HDMI, power and network connectors as well as the GPIO pins, enabling peripherals and HATs to be attached without removing the board. Its two-tone finish and compact shape make it practical for visible setups while minimizing the occupied desk or shelf space.
Place the Raspberry Pi 5 into the internal mounting points, align the board with the port cutouts and secure it with the provided fasteners if included. Connect the integrated fan to the appropriate power header on the Raspberry Pi or to the onboard fan connector according to the case documentation. Verify that all external cables (power, HDMI, USB, Ethernet) pass cleanly through the corresponding openings. Ensure the fan is oriented and connected so that it provides airflow across the processor and other heat-generating components.
For effective cooling, use the fan continuously during heavy workloads or prolonged operation. Keep ventilation openings free from dust and obstruction; periodic cleaning with compressed air will maintain airflow. When installing HATs or larger add-ons, confirm there is sufficient clearance and that the fan connection and cable routing remain secure.
