Safe Handling and Usage Guidelines
To ensure optimal safety and performance:
• DO NOT expose the device to fire or temperatures greater than
60°C (140°F). Do not place the device next to areas which may
become hot. Examples include, but are not limited to, on or near a
space heater, cooking surface, cooking appliance, iron, radiator, or
fireplace.
• DO NOT get the device wet. Doing so may lead to short circuits,
malfunctions, or electric shocks. Even though it might dry and
appear to operate normally, the circuitry can slowly corrode and
defeat its safety circuitry.
• DO NOT store the device with hazardous or combustible material.
Store in a cool, dry, ventilated area.
• DO NOT drop or cause an impact to the device or power adapter.
Dropping it, especially on a hard surface, might cause damage to
the device or power adapter. If you suspect damage to the device or
power adapter, replace it.
• If the power cable is damaged (for example, the cord is exposed or
broken) or the plug loosens, stop using it immediately. Continued
use may lead to electric shocks, short circuits, or fire.
• The socket outlet should be installed near the equipment and easily
accessible.
• DO NOT use the power adapter outdoors, unless explicitly directed
within product instructions.
• DO NOT plug devices into Powerline pass-through sockets that
exceed the product ratings.
• DO NOT plug major home appliances into the filtered ac socket or
into an attached power strip.

model by Arlo. The use of any other types of accessories may void
the warranty, may violate local regulations and laws, and may be
dangerous. Please contact your retailer for information about the
availability of approved accessories in your area.

Compliance with 2014/53/EU Radio Equipment
Directive (RED)
This Arlo radio equipment complies with the requirement of Article
10 (2) of the RED as it can be operated in at least one Member State
without infringing applicable requirements on the use of radio
spectrum. This radio equipment also complies with Article 10 (10)
as it has identification of the Member States on its packaging where
restrictions on putting it into service or requirements for authorization
of use exist.
In addition, Arlo’s radio equipment is further tested to ensure spurious
emissions are within the specified limits, as well as meeting the
requirements for adaptivity, which mitigates interference problems
caused by co-location with other radio equipment.
