How to use

Mount each camera on a wall or ceiling at a height and angle that covers the desired area, ensuring the solar panel receives sufficient sunlight if used for charging. Connect the cameras to the local network using either Ethernet or the dual-band Wi‑Fi connection and complete initial setup through the Arlo mobile app. Insert and charge the removable battery or connect USB-C power; the solar panel can provide continuous charging in suitable conditions. Configure motion detection zones and alert preferences in the app, enable spotlight and siren behavior as required, and, if desired, subscribe to the platform features that provide advanced AI detections and early warning alerts.

Usage recommendations

Position cameras to minimise direct exposure to bright lights and to keep the solar panel unobstructed. For best night-time colour detail, ensure the built-in spotlight has a clear line of sight and maintain lenses clean from debris. Use wired Ethernet where stable, high-bandwidth connections are required; use the solar panel and removable battery for installations without convenient mains power.
