Arlo Ultra 3 4K — 3 cameras with Solar Panel, 180° FOV, 12x digital zoom, Wired & Wireless is an outdoor IP security camera kit designed for perimeter and property monitoring. The kit includes three weatherproof cameras and a solar panel, supporting both wired and wireless connectivity. Each camera provides a wide 180° field of view (horizontal 151°, vertical 80°), true 4K resolution capture and manual focus with up to 12x digital zoom. Night vision operates in colour and black & white up to 5 m, with a typical recognition distance of about 7.5 m.
The system combines high-resolution 4K imaging with a wide viewing angle to reduce blind spots while preserving detailed image clarity. Dual connectivity options (wired and wireless) and removable batteries with USB-C fast charging allow flexible installation and maintenance. Built-in spotlight and siren functions provide immediate visual and audible deterrence, and advanced detection capabilities help reduce non-essential alerts. The included solar panel supports continuous outdoor operation and reduces the need for frequent battery changes.
Mount each camera on a wall or ceiling at locations that provide the desired coverage and minimize obstructions. Connect cameras to local power using the removable battery and USB‑C charging or use wired Ethernet where a stable wired connection is needed. Position the solar panel where it receives direct sunlight to maintain battery charge. Configure the system through the Arlo app to set detection zones, adjust sensitivity, enable colour night vision, and link spotlight and siren behaviours to alerts. Use manual focus and the 12x digital zoom via the app to fine‑tune framing and inspect details when reviewing footage.
For consistent performance, install cameras at a height that captures faces and license plates within the 7.5 m recognition range, avoid pointing lenses directly at reflective surfaces or strong light sources, and ensure the solar panel is unobstructed for reliable charging. Regularly update firmware and review detection settings to balance alert frequency and accuracy.
