ARMOR AWX FH Wax Thermal Transfer Ribbon 110 mm Black T63354IO

The ARMOR AWX FH Wax Thermal Transfer Ribbon 110 mm Black is a high-quality consumable engineered for efficient and reliable barcode and label printing. Manufactured by ARMOR as part of the Inkanto line, this wax ribbon delivers sharp, high-contrast black prints suitable for a wide range of standard identification tasks. Designed for use with compatible thermal transfer printers, it ensures smooth operation and consistent print quality on various paper label substrates, making it an essential supply for daily business documentation and labeling workflows.

Advantages

This wax thermal transfer ribbon offers exceptional print clarity, ensuring that barcodes, text, and graphics remain easily readable by scanners and human eyes alike. The formulation allows for reliable printing at high speeds, which helps maintain high productivity in fast-paced operational environments. Additionally, the ribbon is designed to work effectively at lower energy settings, helping to reduce wear and tear on the printer printhead while maintaining dark and uniform black output.

Suitable for

• Printing logistics and shipping labels for supply chain management
• Retail price tagging and shelf labeling
• Warehouse inventory management and product identification
• General office and administrative document labeling

When it may not be suitable

This wax ribbon is not recommended for applications requiring high resistance to extreme temperatures, harsh chemicals, or frequent outdoor exposure where moisture and friction could degrade the print. For demanding industrial environments subject to heavy abrasion or chemical cleaning, resin or wax-resin ribbons are typically more appropriate.

How to use

Install the thermal transfer ribbon into a compatible thermal transfer printer following the manufacturer guidelines for proper loading paths. Ensure the ribbon roll is correctly oriented with the ink side facing the label substrate. Adjust the printer temperature and darkness settings to match the specific paper label material being used, performing a test print to verify optimal transfer quality before starting large print runs.

What to consider before purchase

• Verify that your printer model is compatible with 110 mm width ribbons and 25.4 mm core sizes.
• Confirm that your label material is standard paper, as wax ribbons are optimized for paper substrates rather than synthetic films.
• Check the winding direction to ensure it matches your printer requirements.

Store the thermal transfer ribbons in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat sources to maintain optimal ink properties and ensure consistent printing performance over time.
