Advantages

This hobby paint delivers exceptional pigment concentration, ensuring that base coats apply evenly and require fewer layers to achieve solid coverage. The smooth and fluid consistency allows for effortless application with both standard brushes and wet palettes, facilitating advanced techniques such as layering, glazing, and smooth transitions. Its formulation is tailored to retain fine details on intricate miniatures without obscuring delicate surface textures, ensuring a professional finish for both display pieces and tabletop armies.

Suitable for

• Painting tabletop wargaming miniatures and fantasy figures
• Applying detailed touches to scale models and historical dioramas
• Executing advanced painting techniques like glazing, shading, and highlighting
• Customizing fantasy and sci-fi miniatures with unique artistic color palettes

When it may not be suitable

This acrylic paint is not formulated for industrial applications, large-scale outdoor painting projects, or surfaces that require heavy-duty weatherproofing. It is specifically intended for precision hobby work on primed miniatures and scale models rather than general crafting or fabric painting.

Key specifications

• Product type: Acrylic hobby paint
• Color name: The Darkness
• Paint line: Warpaints Fanatic John Blanche collection
• Intended application: Miniature painting and scale models

How to use

Before applying the paint, ensure the miniature is clean, dry, and properly primed to maximize paint adhesion. Shake the dropper bottle thoroughly to ensure the pigments and medium are evenly mixed. Dispense a small drop onto a palette and thin with a small amount of water if necessary to achieve the desired consistency. Apply thin, controlled layers using a quality hobby brush, allowing each layer to dry completely before applying subsequent coats to build up depth and color saturation.

What to consider before purchase

• Verify that the color tone matches your specific miniature painting project requirements
• Ensure you have appropriate hobby primers and brushes for acrylic miniature painting
• Consider combining this color with other paints from the same line for harmonious blending and shading

Store the dropper bottle in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures, and ensure the cap is tightly closed after every use to prevent the acrylic paint from drying out.
