How to use

Preheat the carafe with hot water, then discard the water. Add coarsely ground coffee or tea leaves to the carafe, pour hot water just off the boil over the grounds, and stir gently. Place the lid with the plunger raised and let the mixture steep for the recommended time (typically 3–5 minutes for coffee). Press the plunger down slowly and evenly to separate the grounds from the brewed beverage. Pour immediately to avoid over-extraction.
