Motherboard ASRock B850 Pro RS WiFi — AMD B850, Socket AM5, ATX, DDR5, 4 DIMM, 256GB, Wi‑Fi 6E, 2.5Gb LAN
ASRock B850 Pro RS WiFi is an ATX motherboard with AMD B850 chipset and Socket AM5, designed to support AMD Ryzen 7000, 8000 and 9000 series processors. It provides four DDR5 memory slots supporting up to 256 GB, multiple M.2 connectors including a PCIe Gen5 Blazing M.2 slot, SATA III ports with RAID 0/1/10 support, integrated Wi‑Fi 6E and 2.5 Gb Ethernet. The board integrates an advanced power delivery subsystem with a 14+2+1 phase design, Hi‑Density power connector and an 8‑layer PCB for improved stability, energy efficiency and sustained performance under load.
The motherboard combines robust power delivery and thermal design to support CPU and memory overclocking with reduced temperature and improved reliability. Multiple high‑speed M.2 slots including PCIe Gen5 and Gen4 support enable very fast NVMe storage configurations while enlarged M.2 heatsinks and an M.2 bottom heatsink help maintain consistent performance. Built‑in Wi‑Fi 6E and a Dragon 2.5 Gb/s LAN provide higher network throughput and lower latency for streaming, gaming and content creation. A wide selection of USB ports, front panel USB 3.2 Gen2x2 Type‑C and display output via HDMI and USB Type‑C (DP‑alt) increase connectivity and expandability for modern systems.
Install the ASRock B850 Pro RS WiFi into a compatible ATX chassis, connect the power supply using the Hi‑Density CPU and 24‑pin ATX connectors, and fit a compatible Socket AM5 Ryzen processor and DDR5 memory modules across the four DIMM slots. Mount M.2 SSDs into the designated M.2 sockets and secure them using the provided heatsink design to improve thermal performance. Connect storage devices to SATA III ports if required, attach GPU and other expansion cards to the PCIe slots, and connect front‑panel headers and I/O peripherals. Use the BIOS Flashback function to update firmware if necessary before first boot; the Auto Driver Installer can simplify initial driver installation once the system is online.
The board is optimized for stability and overclocking: use high‑quality power supplies and memory modules that support DDR5 XMP/AMD EXPO profiles, enable pre‑tested memory profiles in BIOS for safe overclocking, and ensure adequate case airflow to maintain M.2 and VRM temperatures. For networking‑heavy use, prefer wired 2.5 GbE for lowest latency, or configure Wi‑Fi 6E for high‑bandwidth wireless environments.
