ASROCK GNRD8-2L2T is an SSI CEB server-class motherboard with LGA 4710 (Socket E2) designed for Intel® Xeon® 6700P/6500P/6700E-series processors. It supports DDR5-SDRAM across eight DIMM slots for up to 128 GB (1DPC), includes M.2 storage support, integrated Aspeed AST2600 graphics, dual 10GbE and dual 1GbE LAN, and remote management via IPMI. The board is intended for workstation and server implementations that require high memory capacity, multiple PCIe5.0/CXL2.0 expansion lanes and dependable system monitoring.
The motherboard provides broad processor compatibility with Intel Xeon LGA 4710 (Socket E2) and multiple PCIe5.0/CXL2.0 x16 slots plus an MCIO x8 slot for flexible expansion. Eight DDR5 DIMM slots allow higher memory bandwidth and capacity up to 128 GB. On-board networking includes two 10GbE ports and two 1GbE ports for varied network configurations, while IPMI and the Aspeed AST2600 support remote management and hardware monitoring. UEFI AMI BIOS ensures modern firmware features and ACPI 4.0 support.
Install the ASROCK GNRD8-2L2T into an SSI CEB-compatible chassis and mount a supported Intel® Xeon® processor into the LGA 4710 (Socket E2). Populate DDR5 DIMMs according to the motherboard manual to achieve the intended 1DPC configuration and memory capacity. Connect M.2 storage devices into the designated slots and attach network cables to the appropriate RJ45 ports.
