The Asustor AS6508T is an 8-bay tower NAS for small and medium businesses, powered by an Intel Atom C3538 processor (2.1 GHz) and shipped with 8 GB DDR4 RAM (expandable up to 32 GB). It supports HDD and SSD drives, supports RAID, and runs ASUSTOR's ADM operating system. The device offers dual Intel 10GbE ports and dual Realtek 2.5GbE ports, M.2 PCIe NVMe SSD caching, MyArchive cold storage, and a variety of backup, snapshot and surveillance features suitable for business storage and file services.

Advantages

The AS6508T combines multiple high-speed network interfaces (dual 10GbE and dual 2.5GbE) with NVMe M.2 caching to reduce storage bottlenecks and improve I/O performance. Install supported HDDs or SSDs into the eight drive bays or insert MyArchive removable drives for archive access. Connect the unit to your network using the 10GbE or 2.5GbE ports; configure link aggregation or multi-speed switching on a managed switch to benefit from higher throughput.
