KVM switch ATEN CL1308N Rack mounting Black PS/2 USB VGA 1U
The ATEN CL1308N is a 1U rack-mountable KVM switch that integrates a 19" LED-backlit LCD panel, full keyboard, and touchpad into a sliding housing to save space in server rooms. It provides access and control of up to 8 computers from a single console and supports cascading of up to 8 additional switches to manage up to 128 computers. The unit supports both PS/2 and USB keyboard/mouse connections and provides a VGA video interface with a maximum resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels. The housing combines metal and plastic construction and the switch accepts a wide AC input voltage range for versatile deployment.
The CL1308N reduces rack space by combining monitor, keyboard and touchpad in a 1U sliding module while maintaining support for both PS/2 and USB peripherals. Cascading capability allows centralized control of many servers from a single console. Simple plug-and-play setup requires no special software because the switch intercepts keyboard input directly. Multiple switching methods are available: front-panel buttons, hotkey combinations and a multilingual on-screen display (OSD).
Install the CL1308N into a 1U rack space using the sliding housing; optional rack mount kits are available if needed. Connect each target computer using the appropriate KVM cables to the PS/2 or USB and VGA ports. Plug the console keyboard, mouse and monitor into the front panel. Power the unit from an AC source within the supported voltage range. No additional software is required—use front-panel buttons, keyboard hotkeys or the multilingual OSD to switch between connected computers.
For stable video output, use high-quality VGA cables and ensure connected computers are set to supported resolutions up to 1920 x 1200. If mounting in a shared rack, verify clearance for the sliding rail. Refer to compatible accessories for available rack mount kits.
