ATEN KHEXT40 HDMI extender transmits HDMI video and audio up to 60 m using two Cat5e/Cat6/Cat7 cables. The kit includes transmitter and receiver units and draws power from the HDMI connector, so no external power supply is required under normal conditions. It supports HDMI 1.3 and HDCP, and carries common CEC control protocols for integrated control of connected devices.

Advantages

The extender supports Full HD resolutions (480i, 480p, 720i, 720p, 1080i and 1080p) and allows signal extension up to 60 m at 1080i or 40 m at 1080p when using two quality Cat cables. It requires only two Catx cables for the link and works without an additional power adapter in standard setups. When higher distances or greater stability are needed, the unit can be powered externally via a compatible adapter.
