ATEN khsplit2f is a compact 2-port HDMI splitter that duplicates one HDMI source to two displays while supporting resolutions up to 4K x 2K at 60Hz. The metal-cased unit accepts a single Type-A HDMI input and provides two Type-A HDMI outputs, transfers both video and audio, and supports contemporary HDMI standards for use in presentations, signage, retail displays or home AV installations.

Advantages

The splitter supports HDMI 2.0 and HDMI 1.4 standards, HDCP 2.2 and common audio formats such as Dolby Digital/Plus, Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio. It includes an active signal amplifier to drive output cables up to 8 m (provided the cables have suitable copper conductors), offers a maximum bandwidth of 600 MHz and a maximum data rate of 6 Gb/s, and supports 3D as well as 8/10/12-bit colour depth. A front panel LED indicates power and per-port signal presence.

How to use

Connect the HDMI input of the khsplit2f to your source device (PC, notebook, DVD player, set-top box, etc.) using an HDMI cable. Connect the two HDMI outputs to the displays or monitors. Plug the supplied power adapter into a 230 V socket and the device's 5 V DC jack. The unit will duplicate the source signal to both outputs; if the image does not appear immediately, wait approximately 30 seconds for the HDMI signal to be recognized.
