Power distribution unit ATEN PE6208G — 8 AC outlets, monitored PDU, 1U rack, C20 coupler, 100–240V, 16A
ATEN PE6208G is a monitored 1U rack power distribution unit with eight AC outlets and a C20 coupler input. It supports 100–240 V, 50–60 Hz and up to 16 A, providing centralized power distribution and built-in current monitoring for server racks and network cabinets. The unit features a compact rear-mount 1U design, front-panel LED display for current and IP address, and separate internal power for the unit and its outlets so the interface remains accessible when an outlet circuit breaker trips.
The PE6208G combines power distribution and remote monitoring in a single 1U form factor, saving rack space while allowing per-outlet control (On, Off, Power Cycle) locally or via TCP/IP. It offers real-time measurements for current, voltage and kWh at the PDU or outlet level, front-panel LED readout, support for secure remote access (HTTPS/SSL, RADIUS) and compatibility with eco Sensors energy management software for discovery, monitoring and reporting.
Mount the PE6208G in a 19-inch rack using the included rack mount kit and connect mains power to the C20 coupler. Access the device locally using the front-panel LEDs for basic status or connect it to your network via the 10/100 Ethernet port. Configure network settings and user accounts through the browser-based interface, then assign outlet names and access rights as required. Use the interface or eco Sensors software to monitor real-time power metrics, set current/voltage thresholds, schedule power-on sequencing and perform remote on/off or power cycle operations.
Place ATEN PE6208G in a well-ventilated rack space and verify the rack wiring and breaker ratings match the PDU’s 16 A specification. Use power-on sequencing when connecting multiple devices to avoid inrush current issues, and configure secure network access (HTTPS/strong passwords/RADIUS) before enabling remote control. Regularly update firmware and monitor logs via syslog or eco Sensors for proactive power management.
