How to use

Install the transmitter (VE814AT) near the HDMI source and the receiver (VE814AR) by the remote display(s). Connect the HDMI source to the transmitter’s HDMI input and run a single Cat5e/6/6a cable from transmitter to receiver. Connect HDMI cables from the receiver to up to two displays using the dual synchronous outputs. Power both units and select Long Reach Mode only when using 1080p at extended distances. Use RS-232 or IR pass-through to send control commands from the remote location to the source or to control the displays from the local side as required by your setup.

Usage recommendations

For best results, use quality shielded Cat6 or Cat6a cabling and avoid running the cable alongside high-voltage power lines. Verify HDMI source and display compatibility with HDCP 2.2 when using protected 4K content. Limit Long Reach Mode to 1080p use cases and test signal integrity after installation. If multiple displays are driven, ensure they support the same resolution and refresh rate to avoid scaling or handshake issues.
