Cast Iron Enameled Roasting Pan Atusa 6 L Olive – Gęsiarka
Cast Iron Enameled Roasting Pan Atusa 6 L Olive – Gęsiarka
The Atusa enameled cast iron roasting pan (gęsiarka) in olive is a heavy-duty 6 L cookware piece designed for slow roasting, braising and oven cooking. Its cast iron core provides even heat retention and stable temperature during long cooking cycles, while the enameled surface reduces direct contact with bare metal, making cleaning and maintenance easier. The pan is suitable for preparing whole poultry, casseroles and one-pot meals on both the stovetop and in the oven.
This 6-liter enameled cast iron roasting pan offers excellent heat distribution and prolonged heat retention for consistent cooking results. The enamel coating protects the iron from oxidation and simplifies cleanup compared with bare cast iron. Its shape and capacity support roasting larger pieces of meat or preparing multi-ingredient casseroles, and the robust construction is appropriate for frequent oven use.
This pan is relatively heavy compared with thin-gauge cookware, which can make handling awkward for some users, especially when full. It is not intended for use in microwave ovens and heavy thermal shock (moving from very hot to very cold surfaces) should be avoided to preserve the enamel coating.
Preheat the oven or heat the stovetop as required for your recipe. For browning, heat the pan gently on the stovetop with a small amount of oil before adding meat or vegetables; then transfer to the oven to finish cooking if needed. Use oven mitts or heat-resistant gloves to handle the pan and avoid sudden temperature changes. After use, let the pan cool slightly before washing; handwashing with warm soapy water and a non-abrasive sponge is recommended to preserve the enamel.
For best results, use moderate heat for searing and allow the pan to preheat gradually. Dry cookware thoroughly after washing to prevent water spots, and use silicone, wood or nylon utensils to avoid scratching the enamel surface.
