Rear light AUTHOR Cubus/Brake USB CobLed 70 lm Alloy black with red lens
AUTHOR Cubus/Brake USB CobLed 70 lm Alloy black with red lens is a rechargeable rear bicycle light designed to improve rider visibility and indicate braking. The lamp uses COB LED technology to produce a broad, even beam with a rated output of 70 lumens. Housed in an alloy body with a red lens, the light offers USB recharging to eliminate disposable batteries and is compatible with common seatpost and rack mounts for urban and commuter bicycles.
The alloy housing provides a durable, lightweight enclosure that resists typical urban wear. COB LED arrangement delivers uniform light distribution and efficient luminous output. USB recharging simplifies upkeep and charging on the go without the need for battery replacement. The red lens and braking indication function enhance rear visibility and help communicate deceleration to other road users.
Attach the light to a compatible seatpost or rack mount following the mount’s instructions so the lens faces directly to the rear. Charge the internal battery via the built-in USB port using a standard USB cable and a USB power source until charging indicator (if present) signals completion. Use the control button to select steady, flashing or brake-indication modes as provided by the unit. Ensure the light is securely fastened and positioned so it is visible to traffic when riding.
Regularly charge the light before longer rides and check the mounting bracket for tightness. Clean the lens to maintain optimal light output and avoid obstructing the beam. Use the brake-indication mode in traffic to improve communication with following road users.
