Helmet AUTHOR Vento InMold LED USB 52-55cm (silver/white)
The AUTHOR Vento InMold LED USB helmet is a lightweight urban cycling helmet designed for everyday commuting and recreational rides. It features InMold construction that bonds the outer shell to the impact-absorbing liner, integrated ventilation channels and a built-in rechargeable LED light with USB charging. The helmet fits head circumferences of 52–55 cm and combines basic protection, airflow and increased visibility for low-light conditions.
The InMold construction provides a secure shell-to-liner bond for consistent impact absorption while keeping the helmet light. Multiple vents and internal channels promote airflow to help reduce heat buildup during rides. The integrated rechargeable LED increases rear visibility without adding external attachments, and the USB charging port makes recharging convenient and compatible with common chargers or power banks. Adjustable retention and chin strap allow a more precise fit for the 52–55 cm size range.
This helmet is intended for general urban and recreational cycling; it is not designed for specialist disciplines such as downhill mountain biking, BMX stunts or competitive road racing where discipline-specific helmets with additional protection or aerodynamics may be required. Riders who need sizes outside the 52–55 cm range should select a different size model for a correct and safe fit.
Before each ride, adjust the rear retention system and chin strap so the helmet sits level on the head, approximately two finger-widths above the eyebrows, and feels snug but not overly tight. Charge the built-in LED via the USB port until fully charged according to the manufacturer’s recommended charging time, and verify the light functions before riding in low-light conditions. Regularly inspect the shell and liner for damage after any impact and replace the helmet if it shows signs of significant damage or deformation.
Use the helmet for urban commuting and recreational cycling where a balance of ventilation, light weight and integrated rear lighting improves comfort and safety. Keep the LED charged for rides at dawn, dusk or night and replace the helmet after any significant impact.
