Document scanner Avision AD120 A4 duplex flatbed 600 dpi, 35-sheet ADF
The Avision AD120 is a compact document scanner designed for A4 paper with duplex scanning up to 600 dpi. It combines a flatbed glass surface for single, fragile or bound items with a 35-sheet automatic document feeder (ADF) for efficient batch scanning. The scanner is suitable for office and home environments where reliable digitization of invoices, contracts, records and other documents is required while preserving fine detail.
The scanner offers duplex scanning at high optical resolution, enabling clear capture of text and images on both sides of a page in a single pass. The integrated flatbed accommodates thick, delicate or bound documents that cannot be fed through the ADF, while the 35-sheet ADF speeds up multi-page workflows. The device is compact and weighs approximately 4.259 kg, making it practical for limited workspace installations and easy repositioning when needed.
Place the scanner on a stable, level surface and connect to the host computer following the manufacturer's connection instructions. Use the flatbed to scan single sheets, books or fragile originals by opening the lid and positioning the document face down on the glass. For batch jobs, load up to 35 sheets into the ADF, adjust guides to fit the paper width, and select duplex scanning if both sides are required. Choose the desired resolution (up to 600 dpi) and file format in the scanning application, then start the scan. Review scanned files on your computer and save or export them to designated folders or document management systems.
Keep the flatbed glass clean and free of dust or debris to maintain image quality. When using the ADF, remove staples, paper clips and correct folded or torn pages to prevent jams. For delicate originals, prefer the flatbed to avoid damage. Select lower resolutions for bulk text-only scans to save storage space and higher resolutions for images or detailed graphics. Store scans in organized folders and apply consistent naming conventions for easier retrieval.
