AWTools Manual Fluid Extractor 9L

The AWTools 9L manual fluid extractor is a high-capacity, vacuum-operated device engineered for the clean and efficient removal of automotive fluids. This professional-grade tool simplifies routine maintenance tasks by allowing users to extract engine oil, transmission fluid, and coolant directly through the dipstick tube or other access points. Its robust 9-liter reservoir is designed to handle significant volumes of liquid, making it a reliable solution for both home workshops and professional automotive service environments.

Advantages

This manual fluid extractor offers a significant improvement over traditional gravity-based draining methods by eliminating the need to remove drain plugs or lift the vehicle. The vacuum-operated system ensures a controlled extraction process that minimizes the risk of spills and environmental contamination. Its durable construction provides long-term reliability, while the large capacity reduces the frequency of emptying the tank during larger maintenance jobs. The portable design allows for easy maneuverability around the garage, ensuring that fluid changes are performed quickly and cleanly.

Suitable for

• Extracting used engine oil from passenger vehicles
• Removing transmission fluid during maintenance
• Draining coolant from cooling systems
• Removing fluids from small engines and lawn equipment

This tool may not be suitable for extracting highly viscous fluids that have solidified or for fluids that are extremely hot, as the internal seals are designed for standard automotive operating temperatures. It is also not intended for use with corrosive chemicals or fuels that could damage the reservoir material.

Key specifications

• Reservoir capacity: 9 liters
• Operation type: Manual vacuum pump
• Compatible fluids: Engine oil, transmission fluid, coolant
• Construction: Durable, chemical-resistant plastic

To use the extractor, ensure the engine is warm to allow fluids to flow more easily. Insert the appropriate suction probe into the dipstick tube or fluid reservoir until it reaches the bottom. Operate the manual pump handle to create a vacuum inside the tank, which will draw the fluid out. Monitor the flow through the transparent reservoir and stop pumping once the fluid level reaches the maximum capacity or the flow ceases.

What to consider before purchase

• Check the diameter of your vehicle's dipstick tube to ensure compatibility with the included probes
• Verify the total fluid capacity of your vehicle to ensure it does not exceed the 9-liter limit
• Ensure the tool is stored in a clean, dry environment to maintain the integrity of the vacuum seals

For optimal performance, always clean the suction probes after each use to prevent cross-contamination of fluids. Regularly inspect the vacuum seals and hoses for signs of wear to maintain consistent suction power.
