Low-profile trolley jack AWTools AW20092 2.5 t, lifting range 75–505 mm, dual piston, pedal, handle

AWTools AW20092 is a low-profile trolley jack designed for lifting vehicles with limited ground clearance. Rated for a 2.5-ton capacity, it provides a lifting range from 75 mm to 505 mm. The unit uses a dual-piston system to achieve faster initial rise and includes a pedal for quick height adjustment plus a removable handle for easier transport and storage. The compact chassis and low saddle profile make it suitable for sports cars, lowered vehicles and workshop maintenance tasks that require a reliable floor jack with extended reach.

Advantages

The dual-piston design improves the initial lift speed, reducing the number of pump strokes needed to reach working height. The low-profile construction allows access under vehicles with small clearance while the wide base and reinforced frame provide stable support during lifting. A built-in pedal enables rapid preliminary lifting and the removable handle simplifies handling and storage. The lifting range from 75 to 505 mm covers a broad set of common service heights.

Suitable for

• Passenger cars with low ground clearance
• Tire changes and routine workshop maintenance
• Home garages and professional service bays requiring a compact, mobile jack
• Tasks that need faster initial lift and moderate maximum height

When it may not be suitable

This trolley jack is intended for lifting loads up to 2.5 tonnes; it is not appropriate for heavier commercial vehicles or trucks that exceed the rated capacity. It is a floor jack and not designed for long-term support — jack stands or axle stands should be used for prolonged work under a vehicle. Extremely uneven or soft ground may reduce stability during lifting.

Key specifications

• Maximum load capacity: 2.5 tonnes
• Lifting range: 75–505 mm
• Dual-piston hydraulic mechanism for faster initial lift
• Pedal for rapid preliminary lifting
• Removable handle for transport and storage
• Low-profile saddle suitable for vehicles with reduced clearance

How to use

Position the jack on a level, firm surface and align the low-profile saddle beneath the vehicle jacking point recommended by the vehicle manufacturer. Insert the handle and use the pedal or pump action to lift the load until the desired height is reached. Once lifted, place appropriate jack stands under rated support points before performing work beneath the vehicle. Lower the vehicle by slowly turning the release valve to control descent and remove the jack after the vehicle is safely supported on its wheels or stands.

What to consider before purchase

• Check vehicle weight and jacking points to ensure the 2.5 t capacity and saddle profile are suitable
• Confirm minimum clearance of 75 mm fits under the vehicle's lowest jacking point
• Plan to use jack stands for safety when working under a raised vehicle
• Verify storage space for a low-profile trolley jack and the need for a removable handle

Usage recommendations

Use the AWTools AW20092 on a flat, solid surface and always follow vehicle manufacturer jacking instructions. For safety, combine lifting with appropriately rated jack stands and inspect the jack for leaks or damage before each use. Regularly clean and lubricate moving parts and bleed the hydraulic system according to maintenance intervals to maintain reliable lifting performance.
