Tarpaulin AWTools AW68004, weight 680 g, model AW68004
AWTools AW68004 is a single-piece tarpaulin with a fabric weight of 680 g designed to provide reliable outdoor protection for equipment, materials and cargo. Constructed from HDPE cross-woven fabric laminated on both sides with LDPE, the tarpaulin combines strength and waterproofing for general-purpose covering, temporary shelter and transport protection. Reinforced heat-sealed edges with eyelets placed every 1 meter and an integrated rope reinforcement improve resistance to wind and rain while maintaining a lightweight and flexible sheet for handling and storage.
The tarpaulin offers durability and UV resistance, reducing degradation when exposed to sunlight. Laminated surfaces provide waterproof and mould-resistant performance and make the material easy to wash. Heat-sealed edges and sewn-in rope reinforcement distribute load evenly around the perimeter, while regularly spaced eyelets enable secure fastening and adaptable anchoring during use. The combination of HDPE cross-weave and LDPE lamination delivers tear resistance and dimensional stability under common outdoor conditions.
Place the AWTools AW68004 tarpaulin over the item or area to be protected, aligning the edges so eyelets are accessible for fastening. Use rope, straps or bungee cords threaded through the eyelets to secure the cover to anchor points, ensuring even tension around the perimeter to prevent flapping in wind. For transport use, fasten the tarpaulin progressively on opposing sides to maintain stability. After use, clean off any dirt with water and mild detergent, allow to dry fully before folding, and store in a dry place to extend service life.
Inspect fastening points and eyelets before each use and avoid sharp edges beneath the tarpaulin. When long-term UV exposure is expected, consider periodic checks for surface wear; store the tarpaulin indoors when not in use to prolong its lifespan.
