Tarpaulin AWTools AW68007, waterproof cover, weight 1.4 kg
AWTools AW68007 tarpaulin is a waterproof cover weighing 1.4 kg, made of HDPE cross-woven fabric laminated on both sides with LDPE. The construction combines woven strength with plastic lamination to provide a lightweight yet robust sheet suitable for protecting goods, equipment and outdoor items from rain, dust and dirt. Reinforced heat-sealed edges include eyelets every 1 metre and a sewn-in rope reinforcement to enable secure fastening and improved resistance to wind and heavy weather.
The tarpaulin offers UV resistance and mould resistance alongside waterproof performance, making it suitable for prolonged outdoor exposure. Its laminated surface is easy to clean and limits water penetration, while the combination of heat-sealed edges, eyelets and sewn rope reinforcement provides reliable attachment points and reduces the risk of tearing under tension. The product is lightweight for its coverage area and designed for multi-purpose usage including temporary shelter and groundsheet applications.
Lay the tarpaulin over the item to be protected and align eyelets with available anchor points. Use rope, bungee cords or straps through the eyelets to secure the tarp, tightening progressively to avoid uneven tension. For vehicle or trailer covers, fasten multiple points to prevent wind lift; for groundsheet use, smooth the tarp and secure corners to prevent movement. Clean the laminated surface with mild soap and water when required and allow to dry before folding for storage.
To extend service life, avoid prolonged contact with sharp edges and store the tarpaulin dry and folded when not in use. Inspect eyelets and sewn rope reinforcement periodically and repair small tears promptly to maintain waterproof performance.
